Summer reading club for kids from birth through those entering 5th grade in September
*Get a reading log & record the books your children read/ books read to them.

**Children about 6 and under have the option of playing a reading game and/or keeping a reading log.

  • Participant names will be put in a prize drawing upon registration.  Every time your child checks out materials from the library, he will complete another drawing slip.

  • At least 6 big raffle prizes will be given at the closing program in addition to smaller prizes that will be given out weekly.

  • Those who return their reading logs by Aug. 25 will receive a FREE book.

  • Registration opens June 13, 6 pm (see below) and will continue through the summer.

  • Lots and lots of activities whether you join the reading club or not!  Some require sign up, but all are free!  I donít have a program booklet ready, but the website is as complete as possible at this point.  (Still a few more special activities to schedule and Iím waiting for some more information on some activities, too.)

The library will close at 5 pm, and re-open at 6 pm for those attending the event (only the childrenís floor will be open; no computers will be available).  Families can take their turn playing through the mini golf course.  While you wait your turn, register your children for the reading club or find some good books to check out.  I recommend the event for children 3 and older.
