ColonialLUG Hosts LEGOŽ Night

ColonialLUG is hosting a LEGOŽ Night 
Thursday, April 3, 2014, from 5:30pm – 7:30pm at Whitemarsh Elementary School at 4120 Joshua Road, Lafayette Hill.

Help build a large LEGOŽ sculpture of that will go on display in the school lobby. Come try your hand at some classic carnival games - all created using LEGOŽ!  With admission fee of $5, play all the carnival games and get 5 tickets for various LEGOŽ raffle items.  Purchase additional raffle tickets as well.  And, of course, there will be plenty of free building with LEGOŽ.  

Several LEGOŽ creations from ColonialLUG members will also be on display throughout the event. Come check out some cool things you can build with LEGOŽ and have FUN!

ColonialLUG, formed in 2012, is a LEGOŽ users group for teens aged 13+ who love to create with our favorite little plastic bricks. ColonialLUG also hosts a bi-monthly LEGOŽ club for children aged 7+ at the library covering a variety of themes and building methods.  Whitemarsh Elementary School, recognized as a 2013 National Blue Ribbon School, provides students in Kindergarten through Third grade with a solid foundation for lifelong learning and fosters positive interpersonal relationships within a safe and nurturing environment. The educational program is aligned with state and national standards while teachers apply differentiating instruction to address individual students’ needs.
